Valentine's Day

Pinterest helped me decide on which candy treats to make for Luke's school.  I sent trays of these to the office staff and his teachers.  They tasted good and looked even cuter.  And, the best thing is, they were so easy to make.  Thanks Pinterest!

The spread.

The most beautiful flowers ever.

Heart-shaped sweet cakes and bacon for my sweet cake.

Valentine's Day

Sunday School favors/ treats. I love Mrs. Laci and am so happy teaching with her. Our kids are the sweetest kids in the world. This has been such a great thing.
I went a little overboard this year.
After procrastinating too long, I searched BOTH river cities in search of the perfect Valentine's shirt. When??? The night of Feb. 13. A Sunday. Nothing, and I mean nothing was available. So, I rigged this thing up. Cut out the applique from his last year's shirt and glued it on. It worked. Needless to say after that night of driving around frantically, his St. Patty's shirt is already being made.
Sweet cakes for my sweetie. These are sooooo easy and make him sooooo happy. Makes a momma happy too.

Chip got me a super sweet and mushy card, like only he can write, along with some beautiful flowers and candy.  I got him a card that was unanimously voted the sweetest card from me yet, along with some sugar free candy.  My birthday/valentine's dinner is coming up.  I LoVe!!!  February.

Valentine's Crafts

Here are this year's Valentine's crafts/ gifts for Sunday school and the Wee Center. We made "Jesus Loves Me" door hangers at Sunday school. For his school party, Luke gave his friends little sticker/ coloring books, dove chocolate hearts, and Thomas the Train valentine cards. I also made brownies for the office staff. He brought home many goodies and cards from his friends and made me the beautiful heart hung on the fridge. Chip got me a pretty Jasmine vine that we planted in the backyard. So thankful for my guys.

Happy Valentine's Day

Luke, Chip and I had a nice Valentine's Day. Luke devoured his chocolates this morning. I let all rules go out the window and allowed chocolate for breakfast. As you can see, he went a little crazy with it. After we lounged around, we went to visit Ms. Cone, the elderly lady that Sherry takes care of. Luke brought her a little box of chocolates with a card from the family. Sherry is out of town, so we were in charge of checking on her. After that, we spent a fairly quiet day at home. I made a giant, heart-shaped sugar-free cookie for Chip. Earlier this week, Chip brought me roses to work. He brought the kind that can be planted, so we will be putting them in the back yard. Pops stopped by this afternoon and gave Luke a "Cars" ball and Valentine cards. All in all, it was a family-filled day full of love. Can't get much better than that
