Fishing Rodeo

Our church held its annual Fishing Rodeo today. Luke was a little bigger this year, and able to hold the rod & reel by himself. He was more interested in pulling in the line than waiting. Pops & daddy drove 20 miles round trip to buy, of all things, maggots! Apparently these and chicken livers are the choice bait. Yuk! Luke caught a fish and got the coveted award for the fish that looks most like Reverend Scott. Watching him go up to get his award was so sweet! This was a first for us as parents. We were pretty geeked out. I think Chip even had a tear in his eye.
