Happy Birthday to Me!

For my birthday this year, Chip took me to a romantic dinner at ...

The next day, I took Luke to have lunch with me and Brigette at the best little cupcake place in town...

My 34th birthday was a great day!  Chip made sure I felt special and doted on me more than usual.  He bought me a video camera to shoot Luke's upcoming tee ball games and treated me to a yummy dinner at Kobe.  Dad called and sang "Happy Birthday" to me.  What a guy.  This year, it seems like my friendships with people are growing and growing.   I spent the day hearing from so many friends and family over facebook and in person.  I am thankful to God for all that He has given me:  a healthy, hilarious and handsome young son, and growing, loving and rewarding marriage, supportive family, and fun fun fun friends, and rewarding, perfect career.  Lord, thank you for the blessings so far and please keep em coming!  

Birthday Blessings

I am so blessed to have so many friends and family who wished me a happy birthday this year. Facebook has brought back so many old friends to my life. My family went above and beyond for my birthday this year as always. Dad had roses delivered to our house on my birthday-eve. Chip got me roses too, and took me out to the restaurant where we got engaged, L'Italiano. Little Luke helped Nana make me a cake and wrap my present while spending the night at her and Pops house during our date night. He was sooooo proud to sing the birthday song to me and give me my present. I bet he wished me a happy birthday a thousand times today.

Last but most certainly not least...Cecil, Sherry & Chip went in together to get me a Dyson vacuum cleaner! I know it is a sign that I am getting old when a vacuum cleaner can make me this happy. Chip even told me he was scared to give this to me and hoped my friends wouldn't think he was a jerk for getting me a vacuum cleaner for my birthday. I think there is some saying warning men about this. But, I couldn't be happier.

Happy Birthday to Me

We got our very own Sony 42 inch piece of nirvana. I am in couch potato heaven. Chip bought it for us for my birthday. The plan was to get it for Christmas. Then, our laptop broke, so we had to get that instead. Then, "we" were supposed to be saving our money for this. Chip surprised me and bought the whole thing. He has banked some major points for this one. :-)
