Halloween
This year we trick or treated with my friend Amy, husband John and their son, Nate. Amy and I have become good friends this year. Her son, Nate, and Luke play really well together too. We started out in our neighborhood, then Luke and I went with Nate and Amy to Woodlake South. Woodlake South knows how to trick or treat! Kids were riding hayride style on the back of Polaris and tractors. Hilarious and so much fun!

Cowboy Day
Luke's school had Cowboy Day this year instead of Halloween costume parties. Really, it is all about the treats anyway. Luke brought the party favors. I found some cute Halloween straws and tied a tootsie pop to them. Luke and all of his friends got to dress up and they all had a great time.

Mums for Mom
Luke helped me plant mums this year. I looked back on our mum-planting day from last year, and can't believe how much he has grown. I haven't gotten as much done as I would have liked by mid-October. Last year I had all of my Fall decorating done at the beginning of the month. Sunday School lesson-planning and Junior League have kept me busier this Fall. I still managed to get out the mums though, and they are gorgeous. Fall has begun, the air is crisp, and Tiger football is in full effect.

Fall Carnival!
Luke's school held its Fall Carnival this week. We had fun overall, and Luke was on his best behavior, even though he was a bit tired. As you can see, he participated in the sucker pull...
most fun of all, the hayride...
He was too little for the bouncy house, but we are all over that next year!
and finally, here is the duck he chose at the duck pond.
