Chip and I took Luke to this festival this Saturday, September 25. Luke wasn't all that impressed, except for the boys who were target shooting and the ones who were successfully motoring across the monkey bars on the playground. To be 7, would be "so cool." If you ask me, three is just fine. The ride out to the festival was so nice. The leaves are falling (although Chip joked that this is because the trees are dead from drought). Before we rode in the Jeep out to the festival, we stopped by the Finley property so Chip could spread some seed. I timed Luke while he ran races, his new favorite thing. After the festival, we all went to vote at the courthouse, then came home for lunch and a nap. What a nice, relaxing weekend. Ahhh.
